(888) 761-1042 (888) 761-1042 Video 1973 Triumph TR6 95013 Miles Wedgewood Blue Convertible 2.5L I6 4-Speed Manual R Exterior Color: Wedgewood Blue Interior Color: Blue Body Type: Convertible Transmission: 4-Speed Manual Drivetrain: RWD Engine: 2.5L I6 Mileage: 95,013 Title Condition: Clear The TR6 is considered the last of the traditional British open sports cars. They offer a pure, open-air sports car motoring experience that is unique to the brand. The sound, the feel and handling is something that any driving enthusiast should experience. The traditional design, mechanical reliability and parts availability make the easy classic sports cars to own. For these reasons, they have become proven investments. The chrome bumper cars are always in strong demand and generate a significant premium over the later rubber bumper TR6"s.
We are super excited to bring to market this stunning 1973 Triumph TR6 in Wedgewood Blue and shale interior. The car is a great driver and spirited in corners and out of turns. This TR6 has been well sorted and very well taken care of over the years. According to the previous owner he has spent over $15k in the past 3yrs on the restoration of the car. In 2019 vehicle received the following; front end bushings, brake lines, chrome luggage rack, several new hoses, rebuilt alternator, master brake cylinder, complete valve adjustment with tune up and the SU twin carbs rebuilt, new wiring system, wood dash, dash pad, seat covers, Bluetooth stereo, oil service, and front windshield.
After driving the vehicle for about 12 miles the car was humming and hustling thru all four gears with ease and the car performed with a huge grimace on my face. Once shifted into 3rd or 4th gear and a flick of the stalk on the steering console the OVERDRIVE kicked in with perfection and allows you to maximize highway speeds with confidence. This car is a joy to drive on the open roads and the twisty turns as the light body TR6 takes care of all aspects.
Vehicle is overall in very nice shape and the color combo, along with the factory hardtop makes this one that will be noticed at any car event. All lights were working along with interior dash lights, glove box light, heater fan switch, choke, horn, and hazard lights. Only thing that was inop were the wipers, however previous owner said they were working recently. Stand out from the crowd and pack your fall coat and drivers gloves cause you will be deep into the fall season before you will want to put this away into storage!
