Up for your consideration is this 1973 Opel GT. The Opel GT was built for Buick by Opel of Germany from 1969 through 1973. This car is one from the last year they were built, and the only year they were offered with important added safety features such as side impact door beams and shoulder harnesses! Vehicle overview:I purchased this car here on ebay many years ago from the previous owner in Pennsylvania. I had intentions of lightly restoring it for my wife but I never got to it. It is in the exact condition it was in when I purchased it, and I always kept it indoors. The previous owner had listed the car with a walk around video of the car running. However, I have never started it for as long as I have owned it. I have no idea what it will take to get running.Vehicle condition:Body has areas of rust and dents on the exterior (see pics). The car was lightly hit in the rear at some point in its life. Previous owner attempted to smooth out the top rear (trunk) area with body filler. The body structure is solid, including unibody and floors. Chrome bumpers have some surface rust on them. Underside (front valance area) is dented and needs straitening. Torque tube, driveshaft, and master cylinder/brake booster are not in car but are included. Interior is complete as far as I can tell, dashboard is nice, as well as the instrument cluster, door panels, headliner, seats ( drivers seat has a small cut in the base). Tires are old and good enough to roll the car around on. Some parts of the rear suspension have been cleaned and re painted. New shocks included. New radiator and hoses installed, all by previous owner. Car appears to have 49,000 original miles on the odometer, it does not look like the odometer has been rolled over. However I have no way to verify this. Pennsylvania title does verify the mileage as actual. Car may be missing some things. Good solid project car. Additional features: Original yellow exterior (now in primer by previous owner).Original (nice) black bucket seat interior.150 mph speedometer. Factory tach. Factory AM radio. Front and rear defrost. Wood grain steering wheel.
