1978 Buick Opel with Vortec 350 and 700r4 trans. and only 2300 lbs.
Fresh Jegs Longblock L31 350, local rebuilt 700r4, 358 geared welded rear. Exhaust manifolds to Walker quiet flow mufflers.
Brake system completely new. Master cylinder, brake lines, calipers, rotors, wheel cylinders, etc. New wheels and tires. Electric cooling fan with thermostat mounted on fresh alum radiator. No radio. No heat. No AC Just go fast fun!
Very few Opels left this one is quite the head turner and it moves out.
Runs cool. Took to local car shows this summer. 50 miles round trips no problem.
