| “This is my grandparents car. Grandfather passed away. Grandmother does not want. We are trying to sell car to make money for the family. It has been garaged for about 8 years or so. But does need some body work. It has scabs under soft top roof. And around wheel trim and under doors...car has been sitting. Will fire up with hose running from gas can. Probably needs. New gas tank or tank cleaned, and new fuel lines and filters. Maybe carb work. This car is 98% original. Has nicer than leather bucket seats from Ford Maverick grabber and rear seat to match. In an already tan comet interior. 200 inline six engine. Aluminum mag wheels. Extra comet hood if you want it. Please see photos. What you see is what you get. Car does not run. You are bidding on a 1973 Mercury Comet. Been sitting for 8 years or so in garage. Original color is that copper bronze. Was painted dark blue metallic some years ago. Tan interior. Newer front bucket seats and rear matching seat from a Ford Maverick grabber. Nice interior, exterior has some rust issues around wheel trim and doors bottoms and fender tops. Have an extra green hood and brown set of tail lights. In trunk was new sets of frame and engine mounts for a V8 swap. The mounts are there. .ready for V8. Brakes seem solid. Will not run. . probably bad gas. .been sitting. Probably won"t take much to fire up. It does turn over. Fuel lines and filters and gas tank and possibly a carb repair needed. . DOES NOT RUN. WILL NEED TOWED. HAVE TITLE IN HAND. GRANDPARENTS CAR. GRANDPA PASSED, GRANDMA DOES NOT WANT. WE DONT HAVE TIME TO FIX THIS. JUST TRYING TO GET SOME MONEY FOR THE FAMILY. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS.
