Vehicle description
1964 Mercury Comet Caliente Coupe, 2 DR hardtop.289 V8, Automatic Transmission.
This car has been in the family since the early 90"s when my father purchased it (it reminded him of his first car in high school), he restored it to original and then in his failing health left it outside in the elements of Washington State where it sat for over 12 years. I inherited it and transported it to Texas where I have spent over $5,500 replacing, rebuilding or putting in new parts to make this my daily driver. All that is left to be replaced is the headliner and minimal body work / paint the color you want (there is minimal rust in the rear quarters). I do not have the time to dedicate to the complete restoration of this car but it is a strong running, charging, stopping, shifting head turner that you can either flip quick for a profit or rebuild to enjoy for yourself. You can see what other Comets go for so you will not lose money on this investment. I will include all receipts as well as a description of what was done and what I know of the vehicle if you purchase it. You are responsible for transportation.
