I brought this car from Arizona to North Carolina in 2002 and was my daily driver until being parked in 2010. The car is titled, registered and insured, it runs, drives, and stops but am having difficulty getting the carburetors to run right (tends to go lean above 3,000 rpm). Speedometer and tachometer are not working, brakes function well (new right rear wheel cylinder recently installed), has tokiko shocks and struts, and the transmission shifts smoothly. The car has bondo in the roof (as evidenced from a tree limb cracking the filler) and has an older paint job from the 90’s.The door handles were welded shut and are actuated by a key fob (still can open mechanically on the inside as well). There is some rust but much less than most and is as follows: battery tray is rusty (new one is included), a small amount on the drivers side dog leg as well as near the weatherstrip under the hatch, and a spot on the passenger floor near the seat mount. The car has a 4 speed transmission and 280 engine with su carburetors, points distributor, and an electric fan for the radiator. The dash has a plastic cover glued on, the seats are nice and have been recovered and the carpet kit is recent. I also have a nice set of door and kick panels (not currently installed) that will go with the car.
The car looks nice in pictures and was driven today, but it should be considered a very solid foundation for a project car and needs work. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks
