This is my third time auctioning the car the last two bidders backed out without ever coming and looking at the TR6. It is worth putting back on the road. Ok now about the TR6. NO RESERVE - 1972 Triumph TR6 Convertible Barn Find. RUNNING, drives and stops. Damson Red Exterior, Tan Interior and Black Convertible. 2.5L 106 HP 6 cyl. with 4 Speed trans. AM/FM radio in glove box(inop), BF Goodrich 205/75/15 Tires and correct TR6 Wheels. ODO 95902 (original). VIN CC77022 Owned by same person for 39 years and driven "once in a while, around the block " 1365 miles in last 17 years. In dry storage. Surprisingly this classic Triumph starts very easily. Runs, drives and stops and E brake holds. There is a U Joint clunk that spoils the ride. On startup oil pressure goes right up to 70 lbs. and after reaching water temp it stay there (amazing). This classic Triumph has all the usual rust issues. Frame is solid but trialing arms have soft spot (in pix), fenders, doors and quarters appear solid as does trunk area.
