LAST GUY BACKED OUT starts everytime, runs cool, excellent oil pressure. multiple prior owners so car now has twin webbers, oil cooler, magnetic gas cap, suspension reworked, engine said to have been rebuilt, new u-joints and bushings, replaced floor pans, new generator everything works but the car is after all 46 yrs old and for past few years sat in a couple of different old mens garages available for inspection-local pick up for delivery option On Aug-26-18 at 11:04:01 PDT, seller added the following information: tarts everytime, runs cool, excellent oil pressure. multiple prior owners so car now has twin webbers, oil cooler, magnetic gas cap, suspension reworked, engine said to have been rebuilt, new u-joints and bushings, replaced floor pans, new generator everything works but the car is after all 46 yrs old and for past few years sat in a couple of different old mens garages available for inspection-local pick up for delivery option ok-i just got back from a one hour drive in Texas hill country in August, nose up-tail down accelerating with buttery smooth transmission and OD for the highway, oil pressure was 40 at idle. i know, i didn"t believe it either at first so bought a gage an NAPA and the in dash gage is spot on. water temp doesn"t get hot, didn"t believe that either so bought a temperature gun and shot it, and the in dash gage is spot on. the quad exhaust has the best decelerating rumble you will ever hear . if you are after a museum piece, keep looking. if you are after a solid driving TR6 with no shimmy that brakes well and is mechanically reliable this one should suit your needs and of course no one has a 6 with a surrey top
