Vehicle Details You are looking at a original family owned car that was purchased in Alabama in 1972 by my sister in law. I spent two years taking the car down to metal inside and outside. After some fiberglass repair work on the regular rust areas such as spare tire well, the entire interior was covered with EX Cool insulation for sound and heat. All new vinyl in the original pattern was installed along with new carpet and headliner. A new dash topper was installed along with two new Sparco style racing seats with 4 point seat belts.The exterior was smoothed and rust areas repaired and then covered with exoxy primer, high build primer, SPI red basecoat and then 8 coats of SPI Universal clearcoat water sanded to 3000 grit and then 3 stage buffed. A new windshield was installed and bumpers were stripped and painted. 16" Enkei wheels were added with less than 1000 miles on tires. I would rate the paint and fit on a 7-8 on a show car scale. There is one crack on the rear hatch where the spoiler connects where an idiot closed the hatch by holding the spoiler and slamming it.The motor is an L28 Turbo that has been converted to a rail fuel injection system. I added an intercooler and re-routed the intake to pick up more cool air. It has electric fans and runs cool.The transmission is a 5 speed that shifts perfectly. I replaced the stock front brakes with 4 piston calipers and slotted and cross drilled rotors.This is not a trailer queen, it was built to drive and enjoy. It is very quick and handles like a 240Z should. It turns heads wherever it goes and has won several awards at local car shows. Images Download the Motors app
