This is a 1972 Lotus Europa S2. It has a 1565 cc Renault four cylinder engine. It has a Weber 45DCOE13 carburetor that has just been rebuilt. The engine head was obtained from an early Lotus 46. It has larger intake valves, siamesed ports, and has had .030 inches machined from the face. This gives a compression ratio of 12:1. It has between 195 and 200 bhp at 6500 rpms. It has a four speed manual trans that has just been serviced with fluids and new linkage. It has new brakes, new master cylinder, new rear wheel cylinders, front calipers have been rebuilt, and has new rubber brake lines. It has a new water pump, the radiator has been re-cored, it has new radiator hoses and a new thermostat. It has a new alternator and a new battery. It has a new fuel pump and the fuel tank has been professionally cleaned. It also has equal length headers. It has five original steel wheels with four nice original hubcaps, and four original mag wheels that need restoration. The windshield is in very good condition. It runs and shifts great and this baby GOES! I am the second owner of this car, it sat for about ten years in the "90s when the original owner got sick, and then I bought it from his widow. The car has always been kept inside and has never been wrecked. The car just needs whatever cosmetics inside and out that a new owner would see fit. I just retired and I have 11 cars, two motorcycles, a sailboat, a golf cart, and a stupid fast go-kart, its time to thin the herd.
