Vehicle description

This is a NO RESERVE auction, there is no buy it now price. It takes time, money and effort to post on here, so serious buyers only please! Only bid if you fully intend to close the deal at the end of the auction. If you are the highest bidder at the end, you bought it!
This is a running, driving, and stopping scout that has some good options and features, including the big 345 v-8, 2bbl carburetor, dual exhaust, 3 speed auto trans, tinted glass, removable top, roof rack, sliding side windows, power steering, 4 wheel drive/locking hubs, power brakes, Air conditioning, 15 inch wagon wheels, 4 new 31 inch tires that have less than 5 miles on them, and custom powder coated front bumper. It also has a receiver hitch for towing. It looks like there is a small suspension lift. The seats have been reupholstered , 60/40 front, rear bench, new door seals and a new windshield seal have been recently installed as well. Scout is showing about 69k miles, I can not verify if original or not, but given its condition, I believe it is possibly accurate.
The body is very solid, no rust or patches that I could find, looks very original. Hard to find an early scout II in such good shape! The brakes work well, truck starts up and runs well, good power, and sounds great, not too loud!
This truck was used seasonally as an off road vehicle here in Texas and Oklahoma for several years. Tags expired many years ago, but it was still driven/started occasionally and has stayed in driving shape.
Having said that, the truck is almost 50years old, and may need some adjusting/finishing/tinkering, It is not perfect, not a show truck, and it is not a new Toyota, but gets plenty of attention! The A/C does not work. I have not looked into it, assume it will need at least a service. fog lights need to be hooked up. You are bidding to OWN the scout, not the right of first refusal! If you are the high bidder at the end of the auction, you bought it! Therefore the $500 deposit through Paypal is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable. You are welcome to ask questions or set up a time to come see it before the auction ends and I will do my best to accommodate you. Make sure you have the funds and the blessing from any significant other before bidding! Be sure to note that the buyer is responsible for shipping. Title in hand. Thanks for looking!
