Vehicle description
Beautiful Scout. A restored classic, with cassette player, bikini top, raptor-lined interior, and 3-point harnesses for safety. When purchased in 2016, the car did not start or run, I bought it with my dad who helped me work on it and get it running. We had to do lots of cosmetic work but hardly any engine work, here"s the rust work; we replaced the floor pans, inner and outer sills, rocker panels and and various places throughout the body including fenders, and the windshield frame. Now, the body is free of rust. Paint, we sanded and repainted; the dash, glovebox, seat buckets, roll cage, ashtray, transmission cover, center console, and spots on body where rust was repaired. instead of a nasty carpet we raptor-lined from the bed into the cab, all-along the floor. We installed new speakers and a new stock cassette player. We installed a new windshield, because the previous one was cracked. Unfortunately for the hardtop, it was damaged beyond repair, rust took away the structural strength and windows were broken. The scout does have a Best Top, black leather, bikini top which is not only a great roof but super easy to install and take off. Also an army green, 5 gallon jerry can was installed because the gas gauge occasionally stops working. other than that there is not a problem with the vehicle.
