Vehicle description

1972 International Scout II for sale. This truck has been a very fun toy and a true head turner but its time for a new home. Beautiful Scout, but it does have some issues. Ill try and list the good the bad and the ugly below.
The Good:
Lots of upgrades.
345 International engine, 727 3 speed auto, floor shifter, dana 20 transfer case, dana 44 front and rear
Power steering, Power Brakes, front disc brakes, factory A/C R12 (does blow but not cold anymore).
New high flow radiator, spark plugs, carburetor, poly gas tank, new high pressure oil pump
Totally new suspension all the way around, including Spring over Axle lift, new ball joints, bearings, brakes, brake lines, custom drive shaft, posi trac rear end w/ chrome moly axles, front locker, new u-joints, seals, 456 gears, 37x13.50 R17 Nitto Mud Grapplers, 17" Black XD wheels.
Lots of spare parts including soft top, rear tire rack, hoses, nuts, bolts, maintenance manual, suspension parts, rubber interior mat.
Exterior is cherry red with a black bedliner stripe at the bottom. Interior is bedlined with a black vinyl rear seat and vinyl/cloth front seats. Aftermarket radio with 4 speakers, composite center console
Starts and runs great, flowmaster exhaust sounds even better. Truck runs and drives down the road like any old lifted truck, meaning its loud, wobbly and doesn"t go over 60.
The Bad:
Has a slow coolant leak from a freeze plug under the fuel pump. Have new plugs, just haven"t gotten around to changing them out.
Truck has an unpleasant vibration around 55-60 so it really wont go much faster.
Rear posi trac spit a tooth out last summer and I haven"t fixed it. Needs a new inner gear. I can elaborate more on this when we talk. Truck still drives, just pops when turning if you gas on it.
A/C doesn"t blow cold anymore, the truck has been sitting and the refrigerant has leaked out.
Heater is bypassed, I purchased it like this so I have no idea why. Honestly I never drove it when it was cold so it was not an issue.
Front Drive shaft sheared years ago and clipped the transmission which caused a crack. Crack has been repaired, but its worth mentioning to the buyer.
The Ugly:
Its as Scout, so it has rust. Both rear quarters and the rockers are in bad shape. Touch of rust on the floor pan inside the truck. There is a dent on the passenger door and quite a few chips and scratches all over the truck. Holes in the rear taillight piece for a spare tire holder (I didn"t like it so I removed it).
All in all its an amazing truck that needs some love. Please give me a call or shoot me an email at anytime.
Thanks for looking.
