Vehicle description
I"ve owned this truck 6 years. Its awesome. If it doesn"t sell then I keep this sweet ride. Always garaged and driven on sunny days only. All the stuff you need is here and gone thru. You can call my personal mechanic with a stellar reputation in our community for 35yrs. Even little things, like the neck to the gas tank from the receptacle have been changed. I"ve owned 5 classics for over 25years so I know what to do and don"t cut corners or dink around. I pay to have it done right and if its not they redo it until it is. Here is what you have: new GM 350 crate motor - 325hp/315tq, new rebuilt transmission new steering gear new front driveline new steering column new brakes new exhaust fresh interior newer chrome newer tires yep, the motor creates great vacumm for good brakes good glass, I replaced the side on the top and drivers side with new rollup mechanism everything works, starts great, drives straight, sounds sweet, drive anywhere with it. 10ft paint job [ perfect if you want to use it and still have fun and look good] 3" lift straight body, no dings Things you might want to do: the rear window on the top just lost the ability to stay open on its own, you need to prop it up with something. you can install a new support strut add a better stereo, its fine and newer but if you like real nice sound then throw some money at it. fix the rust spots - they"ve been like this since I bought it and haven"t grown any. windows roll up with a challenge, you could lube up gear inside the door you could go thru the heater in detail and make it work perfect, takes a while to warm up. I"ve never used it much with only driving in great weather. I was thinking of adding some FOX shocks or something higher quality soon to smooth the ride a little. If you think gas money is an issue don"t buy this, its a heavy truck with a big motor and a lift with oversized tires. I run non-ethanol premium in it always. Anyway, this a killer truck that gets thumbs up and waves all the time. It"s just so fun. Take to car show, camping, to the lake, for a cruise, a ride in the hills, hunting. Live it up. Anything you want to know just ask me. I can help with a shipping company, etc. I"ve shipped 4 cars via car carrier and they are all insured and it"s always worked out fine.
