Vehicle description
I bought this car as a father son project and did much work ourselves and outsourced to a classic car specialist in the area. My son is now a pilot so I will leave it to someone else to complete the restoration. It is a fine daily driver as it is and much fun to drive. All the gauges and heating system work as does the choke.
Nice TR-6, great for top down summer driving, especially along winding roads. Odometer reads 40K, but 1000 miles since almost complete engine rebuild.
Here is a list of work done thus far. New top end rebuild with planing of head to increase compression. New valves, push rods, and valve seats to accommodate unleaded gas.
New main bearings, thrust washers, and rings where needed. New exhaust system, alternator, starter, heater valve, coil, distributor cap, high tension wires, hoses, motor mounts, front shocks and springs, clutch slave cylinder, valve cover, syncros and interior carpets. I have
Rebuilt brake boost. Rebuilt carbs, and intake manifold.
It needs a top, rear shocks and springs.
