Vehicle description
Hello,
I am selling my 1971 Triump Tr6. This was a car I told my self I was not going to sell. But time to free up some space and move onto something else!
Exterior: The paint is in beautiful shape, the body is very straight, all the panels line up great! The convertible top is in great shape, no rips or tears, as well as no yellowing in the plastic top windows. The wheels were recently powdercoated and the tires have plenty of life left. The undercarriage is very clean with no rust at all. The car has no rust at all, took me forever to find a clean rust free Tr6, one of the reasons I was going to keep it.
Interior: Interior is in nice shape! The drivers seat has a tear about an inch long. I included a picture. The black leather on the dash does have a few small cracks but nothing crazy. I can wrap it in new leather for the next owner if asked too! Radio, lights, wipers, gauges all work great! The tonneau cover is in great shape as well as all the door panels. The car does have a full size matching spare In the trunk.
Mechanically: The car is a blast to drive! Everytime I go into the garage to start it, it starts right up. The carbs were rebuilt 2 years ago. All maintenance and service was done religiously. The clutch is strong and shifts through gears smoothly. The odometer says 32,000 miles, I have no way to confirm this, so that is up to you to find out!
I hate to do this but it is time for it to go. If you are looking for a great looking 6, this is the car for you. I’m not usually a fan of red cars, but there’s something about a red Tr6 that looks phenomenal. A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of purchase. I have a clean title in hand. I think it is priced to sell, I’m sure I could list in for $4k more and let it sit for 2 months, but I’d rather get it gone and not worry about it.
Don’t hesitate to call or text if you have any questions. Thanks!
