Vehicle description
I brought this rover back from the UK when I moved back to the US in 2012.
Great running driver. Mostly stock. It is currently set up as a soft top, but comes with both the soft and hard tops. Upgrades include stainless exhaust and electronic ignition. Everything else to spec with recently replaced radiator, carburetor, brakes, and suspension.
This rover is NOT refurbished. It is a solid daily driver, and was more or less my rolling restoration. It will need a rear cross member in the next few years. It leaks from various places. I have recently re-sealed the differentials, but it would be a full time job to fully seal a nearly 50 year old rover.
Please message me with questions. I have UK paperwork for a number of years before I purchased it - tax discs, etc. - US import paperwork, and the title is clean with a registration (about to be renewed) in TX.`
Rovers are particular vehicles. Please come and inspect before buying. If you can’t, I will do my best to go over this Rover with you, but understand that this is an old vehicle that involves as much art as science. It has never not started for me and I love it, but it does take time and effort.
Local pickup only or you can arrange for shipping. Shipping NOT included.
