Vehicle description
1971 Ford F250. This truck would be a good restoration project. The truck is my daily driver to and from work which is four miles round trip while working on another. Truck will need work the typical cab mounts, cab corners, floor boards, tailgate and typical mechanical work. I replaced the mounts with new for the transfer case and will be replacing the master cylinder with a new one for the brakes.
Truck has a 360 engine with 2bbl carb, Truck will need exhaust work manifold gaskets. Have the muffler for it. The 360 engine does run strong.
It came with a 8" foot snow plow when I bought it and the plow is included in this auction. I never used the plow nor had it hooked up, The plow frame is on the truck. Plow lights are wired direct and not to the headlight wiring. Dash lights do not work. All other running lights work.
The frame on the truck is solid with no welds or bends. This truck is manual steering and has manual brakes, no booster. The truck at one time was repainted as it decoded out yellow. Truck has a manual New Process 435 transmission with a Dana 24 transfer case. Rear end is a Dana 60 and the front axle is a Dana 44 small closed knuckle, Truck is being sold as is condition.
