Bought this car 4 months ago but I realized I can’t accept the fact that I won’t be able to enjoy it as much.
It’s not a concourse example but an amazingly clean, unrestored with no visible rust anywhere for a 47 year old known to rust Z. Original kilimanjaro white repaint is an 8/10. Sunroof already there sorry.
Engine is a 2.6 with triple dcoe40 sidedraft Weber carbs, headers, upgraded electronic ignition. New twice pipes exhaust.
Recent rebuilt 5 spd tranny, competition clutch.
Upgraded suspension with 1 inch front 3/4 inch rear sway bars, 5 way adjustable Tokico struts, Eibach springs, new 16x8 Rota rims and Direzza tires.
Custom roll bar, Recaro seats, aftermarket wood steering wheel, R134 ac system.
This is a fine example not a project and it’s ready to be enjoyed. But know that this is a 47 year old car and depending on each person there maybe things needed addressing.
Issues I know of in my 4 months of ownership. 1) rear brake cylinders need to be corrdctly switched back. 2) some front suspension play. I will include new inner and outer tie rods. 3) some oil leak which appears to come from the external oil cooler fittings. 4) fan speed control stopped working when I fooled around the radio panel (I’m sure it’s a simple fix).
