Vehicle description

1971 Datsun 240Z S30 Manufactured in 5/71 The car has undergone a restomod, highlights include · Ford 4.6L V8 · Automatic Transmission, with overdrive · Air Conditioning · Power Windows · Power Steering · Power Brakes · Power Seats · Power Door Locks · Keyless Entry · Push Button Start · New Interior · New Weather Striping · New Paint · New Wheels & Tires This car has been my daily driver, and I’ve put over 3,500 miles on the car during the restoration. This is not a show car. Has a Ford 4.6L V8 and automatic transmission - Runs very well - Temperature stays in the middle of the range. Have driven on the highway and in town on 100F+ days, gauge reads right in the center. Was stuck in a parking lot one day for 55 min, the gauge never budged off center. New windshield New custom exhaust New custom drive shaft All of the weather stripping is new Brakes - Larger calipers and rotors up front (all new) (part #s are in the Dash One, see below) - New shoes in the back - Larger diameter Wilwood master cylinder (new) - Larger diameter booster (new) Xenon HID headlights (8K) New carpet New upholstery Original clock works Original gauges, console, and front grill come with the car LED floor well light Door projector lights R200 differential New universal joints New struts front and rear New roller bearing for the McPherson struts All polyurethane bushings Power Steering - Subaru power steering rack - Machined for the car, thus there is no bump steer. Hit a bump or hole at 70mph and the car tracks straight. Automatic transmission Power windows Power seats (6 way) Power door locks Air conditioning - Works great as it was designed for the larger TBird (the donor car) - Automatic temperature control – set to the desired temperature and the A/C-Fan turn on/off automatically Original sun visors Original headliner – in excellent shape XXR wheels - XXR 537 Hyper Silver 16x8 4x114.3 +0 offset - Tires are 225/50/16 front and rear New PCM (What Ford called the ECU for this engine) New fuel pump Original jack and tire chalks in the cargo area New dash cap Larger (20 gal) Mustang fuel tank - I didn’t like the over flow in the passenger compartment – as was the factory design Keyless entry - Proximity based - Walk up to the car and it unlocks - Walk away and it locks Push Button start New paint - 3 coats of clear Thermal/acoustic insulation - An asphalt/foil insulation was used over the entire interior (including the roof and inside both storage compartments in the rear) - Closed cell foam was bonded on the floors and the rear cargo area 3 point retractable seat belts Intermittent wipers - Max delay is 17 sec - Plus low and high Chassis Stiffening - Rocker panels filled with 8lbm/ft^3 marine foam - The type used under the decks of wooden vessels - This was done for chassis stiffening to accommodate the larger torque ODBII port under the dash on the passenger’s side Cold air intake on the passenger’s side front fender is functional - This is the cold air intake for the engine - Splash guards to prevent ingestion of water Custom front grill - Original comes with the car Blue Tooth stereo - Microphone attached to the steering column California car - Rust free Comes with a 460Z-1 (a Dash One manual if you are familiar with aircraft) - This lists all of the modifications - Includes part #s and what other vehicles use these parts (where applicable) - This removes guess work of trying to figure out what the guy before you did - Sections include
The only thing that does not work is the “Low fuel” light
