This is a super nice original California blue plate Rust Free 240Z in great condition all around! This is a mid 1971 build and is known as a "transition car" meaning it has both series 1 features such as vertical defroster and console AND series II such as vents in the pillars instead of rear hatch. . SUPER RARE. Very desirable color combo. . she"s a looker AND a runner! regular commuter for previous owner. . it has been maintained as a daily driver for several years. Excellent runner/driver. This little Z would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection.
The body is very straight with no collision damage that I can see. . Good driver quality repaint in Datsun 907 Drak Green metallic presents quite well with only minor blemishes. . there is no rust with the exception of a couple of very minor surface spots due to light scratches and a couple of minor bubbles just starting on the hatch sill. Underside is nice and clean. . Frame, floors, and chassis are solid. Period mag wheels and good tires. Get"s tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll.
The interior is original and nice as well. . panels, carpet, and seats all look great. . passenger seat has one seam split. Dash has only one minor hairline crack!. . Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly except the clock of course.
L24 motor starts idles and runs fantastic. . carbs tuned perfectly! 4-speed T rans shifts smooth and strong through the gears! Suspension feels tight and provides great ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable. . freshly serviced and tuned. . ready to roll. . definite daily driver capable.
Overall this is a really cool and rare Classic Z in great condition all around. I am a Z collector. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
