Original 1971 Datsun 521 pickup.
This is one of the better preserved Datsun 521 trucks, gently used. All original except stereo & optional rear bumper. One family owned truck. Always a California Truck equals NO RUST, has all jack & tools. Runs great! Four wheel drum brakes all new (but still drums ;). Updated features: 5 speed from 240Z, Electronic ignition, Tachometer, Rino lined bed, Re-Painted stock color about 10 years ago but looks great, Vintage Camper shell in great condition, Near new Tires, 1970"s vintage mag wheels in great shape, Amsoil Synthetic oil used only for last 20 years.
This is a 1970s super well preserved time capsule from the Rims to the Vintage Camper shell with the "Police" (rock group) sticker on it. It is a throw back to simpler times, no AC, no Power windows or locks, no power anything! It has been used as an extra vehicle for the last 25+ years so really no use except for when other cars where in the shop. It was lovingly cared for and kept up. Things that do not work are: fuel gauge, temp gauge (both a ground problem I found out/it has all new senders) and the Speedometer: Speedo stopped at 98K miles when 5 speed was installed approx. 6 years ago, needs longer cable. It runs fantastic, shifts like butter, stops. .well stops good for 4 wheel drum brakes. It is a great, useful fun truck, you won"t be disappointed.
