About this vehicle This 1971 Datsun 240Z is an original with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes 500 paypal due within 48 hours. Balance wire or cashiers check ( car released only once funds clear). Buyer responsible for shipping arrangements. Vehicle Details Clean 1971 series 1 240Z (number 17586). Perfect for light restoration (no body cut other than sunroof) or restomod. It is repainted kilimanjaro white, black interior. Drives and shifts great. Compression good. Body and 90s repaint is clean though not show quality. Very few surface rust spots. Found it in NY 2017 who in turn had the car one year. He picked it up from an avid autocrosser in Missouri who did most of the restomods. Done in the 90s were: code 904 kilimanjaro white (great with few imperfections) including bumpers (popular in 90s), sunroof, custom Recaro SE seats, custom rollbar, Nardi wood wheel, matching wood shift knob, dash cap, 260Z block, E88 head, triple Weber 40s, 6-2-1 headers, R134 AC, Tokico 5 way afjustable shocks, Eibach lowering springs, sway bars 1 inch front 3/4 inch rear, front Toyota brake caliper upgrade, stock clutch. Done in 2015 were: 79 5 spd tranny, converted back to msd ignition Done in 2017 and later were: Twice pipes exhaust, MSD ignition module, Mallory cap and rotor, inner/outer tie rods, alignment, oem gas cap, Motul 600 brake flush, Rota RKR 15x8 0 with 205/55 S Drive Yokohamas, 3 row Champion stainless radiator, Mobil 1 10-30 oil change, right rear brake cylinder Car runs very well but understand this is a 49 yr old car so therefore here are some issues: Brakes work but pedal low, occassional slight front wheel vibration, heat lever stuck, interior fan stopped working (short somewhere). Pass door latch need checked (door requires slamming), AC not working, wiper very weak. Will come with few small parts including 4 slotted rims. Images Exterior
