Up for auction is my 1971 AMC Javelin.
This vehicle has spent its whole life indoors with only two owners, and was well cared for. I believe this is the original numbers matching drive train. The original carburetor was professionally rebuilt, and the transmission was also redone around 20k miles. The only thing that is not original about the vehicle are the front seats, I do however have the original seats which are included when the vehicle sells. The floors were not drilled, the tracks were modified to fit the holes for the new seats.
Even though it did sit for awhile while indoors, it was started regularly. The paint is not perfect, but it is in good shape. Mechanically everything about the Javelin seems fine.
The State of Connecticut does not issue titles for vehicles older than 20 years, as such only I have a Connecticut registration, which will suffice as a title in other states.
This vehicle is being sold as is, where is.
