A very rare factory RED 1970 VW Westfalia Campmobile for sale. Runs and drives great. Engine, 4 speed trans / clutch and breaks all work great, running lights, turns lights, brake lights all good! Good tires and shocks. Drives straight and confident no issues. Interior very good and original for the most part, original front door panels, paneling, all screens perfect, louvers very good, table, , ice box, sink and electrical good, camper tent material has rip in one corner. Dash area excellent with tac, fuel and speedometer working great. Steering wheel excellent, horn works and interior light turns on. Great stereo with CD player. Camper bed and seats recovered excellent. Front seats are not original and have covers on them i was going to replace with original type. Body is good and straight but has 2 locations of rust through that need repair and areas here and there with surface rush see pics. VW Factory applied coating that really helped in preserving the undercarriage. Body has been repainted at one point in it’s life with clearcoat fading. Interior has original color for reference see pics. Camper shell in very good condition. Comes with rear bumper and brackets good condition. Overhead bed very good condition original. Glass is very good. With the drivetrain, electrical and interior in very good condition the body would be the focus for a smooth economical restoration was my plan. plan changed. So get repainted and rust damage repaired and it’s going to be a very nice Westfalia camper, or just drive it like it is and enjoy. Bought new in Oregon, I am the 4th owner. Have clear Oregon title in my name. If you’re serious I will go over the car from top to bottom with you. I want you to know what you need to make an informed decision.
