Vehicle description

Awesome head turner, runs and drives great, not quite complete but would make a daily driver right now. Very clean body no rust was an original So Cal truck and has been in New Mexico the last 15 years.
It has a 12 valve 5.9L Cummins out of a 92 Dodge, the engine is bone stock and has never been turned up, the cover is still on the fuel screw. The donor truck had 110k miles on it.The transmission is a 727 3 speed out of an 89 dodge, the transmission was rebuilt in the fall of 2015 only has about 1000 miles on the rebuild, it was also just pulled to have all of the gasket replaced. The transfer case is the NP205 out of the 92. I just installed a second battery and put in 2 brand new batteries. The axles have been upgraded to HD Dana 44"s with the front having a disc brake conversion. The rear breaks are drum brakes and have been rebuilt less than 50 miles ago. Power steering has been installed using the Cummins power steering pump and a steering gearbox from a 74 scout. It has about 8 inches of lift and will run 37"s easily. The wheels and tires are both brand new with 37 inch General Grabbets. On the inside it"s all very clean with original rubber flooring being very good shape, it has new gauges and a tuff box center console installed. It has had a sound system installed with a deck hidden in the console along with 2 6x9" infinity speakers. The underbody and frame hve been totally gone over with bed liner. The hard top on this model is also removable.
This Scout has not had a frame off restoration but with all the new suspension and drivetrain components mostly everything has been replaced. All the lights work, turn signals, brake lights, dash lights, it all works. All the glass is perfect with no cracks. The seats could use redone they have seat covers and are comfortable, but under the covers is not in the best shape. The heater needs reinstalled but I have an original HVAC that will come with the sell. The speedometer needs hooked up. The windshield wipers are a little erratic with thier operation. The paint looks good from about 10 ft its not perfect, there are some chips and dings and it wasn"t the best paint job to begin with, it"s not a showtruck but it is on the verge of being there. Rear bed has the holes drilled out and this particular vehicle has the Corbeau Safari seats that fit perfectly in the back.
