1970 GMC K10 1500 4x4 Factory Short Bed, Factory A/C, Factory Tach. 99% Rust Free, No Reserve!
You will not find many nicer original 70s trucks on the market. This original California GMC truck is very nice and gets compliments everywhere it goes. Glove box SPID shows all the highlights. Has been in Northern California its whole life straight from the Fremont Plant and shows a great original patina. Grandpa owned and very stock! Sat the last few years but just went through a rehab and is road worthy again. Lots of recent work as listed below. Recent work- Factory AC rebuild including LMC compressor, condenser, lines, etc. (with receipt) Professional metal rust repair in cab corners and door sills, new cab mounts Full tune up, oil change, valve cover gaskets. Brake cylinders, master cylinder, bleed brakes Rebuilt Carb New Battery
Exterior- Very original and still looks great for its age. Does have some dings and dents as to be expected for a 51 year old truck. There was some rust in the cab corners and door sills but just had all the rust professionally fixed (LMC metal, old metal cut out, new metal welded in, finished and color matched). New cab mounts. The frame and underside is solid. Truck bed shows surface rust but no actual rust. Nice dent in the tailgate but doesn"t effect the function. Previous owner had a big antenna on the top so there is still the mounting base up there. Overall, the exterior is very nice and shows a great patina. Camper shell is included.
Interior- Interior is all original and in pretty good condition. The seat is solid but did have some rips in the upholstery so I put a seat cover on top. Dash is great with no damage. Rubber mats are still in pretty good shape.
Mechanical- Truck just went through a full service as mentioned above. It has sat for a few years so needed some love. Rebuilt carb, valve cover gaskets, full tune up kit, new vaccum lines, new battery, new fuel lines, etc. Factory A/C was rebuilt ($1,000 in parts from LMC w/ receipt) Blows cold air out of all the vents. 350 V8 Target Master runs strong. Automatic trans shifts smooth.
