Sold new in Los Gatos California. I bought it from a tow yard over 20 years ago. I have the window sticker, build sheet , and owners manual. It was originally a bucket seat , lemon twist yellow car with A/C. I bought it in primer. Its now Plum Crazy purple, bench seat, no A/C or radio. It has ZERO rust. I took off the vinyl top, removed some emblems and trim. Its never left me anywhere. I rebuilt the motor and put a Max Wedge Posi in it. Drove it for a while and ultimately rebuilt the transmission. It has a mild cam and mild shift kit in it. Its fun to drive.It will do standing burn outs and spin the tires while its rolling too. I don"t drive it much , just for fun now and then.The paint is showing signs of wear and the front seat is a tiny bit worn but I have always kept a seatcover on it. Its a clean driver and a super easy restoration if you"d like to go that direction with it. I moved from a DTLA warehouse loft to a Laurel Canyon bungalow. So I"m considering selling it for my asking. Please understand this an older restoration with many flaws. Thin paint spots, some chips, windows rattle, wipers and heat don"t work, just to mention a few. It runs, drives, and stops.Its currently registered and insured. I drive it as it is for fun.
