Vehicle description
Early vin series 1 Datsun 240z.
Excellent condition and recently restored. The car drives tight and well on the southern California canyons where it really feels at home.
I purchased the car from a guy in San Diego. As far as I know it’s been a California car it’s whole life.
The car has been repainted to a beautiful silver and shows even better in person. I have a full set of pictures and documentation of the body work that was done. It is very good, but not a perfect concourse level paint job.
The drivetrain is a original 2.4 liter motor with a E31 head, which is a rarity to have by itself. The motor is not original to the car as when I bought it, the car had a 2.8. The 4 speed 3 piece transmission is original and fully rebuilt. It runs really well and shifts perfectly. Since the installation and rebuild the car has about 4K miles on it.

16” Panasport wheels on all 4 Polyurethane bushings replaced throughout New rear drum brakes sourced in aluminum a true series 1 item. Rebuilt braking system and new master cylinder Electrical systems gone through and all lights are working as they should. All gauges work properly. Clock does not work. New door panels New seat vinyl New exhaust system installed New door handles Rechromed bumpers that are original. Perfect condition. Aluminum radiator for drivability and over heating. Windshield wipers work well. Heater works very well. Rebuilt with new cables

Items that need attention. Radio doesn’t work. Clock doesn’t work Windshield squirters do not work.
