Vehicle description
This listing is for a 1970 Corvette Stingray, with T-Tops. The vehicle in in partial primer and does need a total restoration. The vehicle was equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, Tilt and telescope steering, factory air condition, leather interior and automation transmission (TH400). The engine in the vehicle is NOM, it has a 350 engine, suffix code TKY, used in 1974, 78, 80 chevy trucks with auto or manual trans. This engine is most likely 4 bolt main, but I have not verified it. Original motor was an L48 350/300 hp. There were only 17k corvettes made in 1970, as there was a strike in during the 1969 production year. This vehicle is for sale as is, it is not running, but it is still a excellent candidate for restoration. I bought it two and a half years ago, but have two other resto project going and don"t have time for this one. The frame is solid, with the only corrosion of significance at the front crossbar, behind the headlight, which is a bolt in item. Items missing include the Wiper Door, mechanism is intact, Side vents, both sides, front bumper, one front grill, one interior door panel, A/c compressor, lines, brackets and engine compartment box. No body damage other than the rear spoiler someone added, which I would have removed during the resto. The car was possibly a side pipe car as the rear exhaust outlets are glassed over. Spare tire and carrier still intact. Vehicle has an L88 hood, I have a factory stock hood, not a replica, which will go with the car. There is a low reserve as I am trying to move the vehicle out to bring ion another one I will be working on. Mileage on the clock is 44,498, the previous owner did not certify the mileage and here in Florida you have to force DMV to read it or they exempt it based on age. Email me with any Questions.
