“I bought this car two years ago to complete small restoration details. I do not receipts from the previous owner, who did the lion’s share of the restoration. I replaced a thrush washer in the engine, which gave me a chance to look inside and see that it’s clean as a whistle. Car drives great!! I’m selling it to move on to another project that has been waiting for me in my garage for years. Immediate deposit if $500 required. Delivery is buyer’s responsibility.” |

Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1969 Triumph TR 6 is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes I bought this car two years ago to complete small restoration details. I do not receipts from the previous owner, who did the lion’s share of the restoration. I replaced a thrush washer in the engine, which gave me a chance to look inside and see that it’s clean as a whistle. Car drives great! I’m selling it to move on to another project that has been waiting for me in my garage for years. Immediate deposit if $500 required. Delivery is buyer’s responsibility. Vehicle Details Beautifully restored 1969 Triumph TR6 with RARE NUMBERS MATCHING engine. Engine has been rebuilt and runs smoothly - this car feels and drives like the sports car it is! Beautiful exterior paint shows no signs of rust, has a few very small scratches and chips. Chrome bumpers are in excellent condition. Chrome rear luggage rack shows signs of age. Engine compartment is good and clean and obviously well taken care of. Interior has more recent seats, new carpet. Wood dash is in gorgeous condition. Radio has been replaced with vintage-style radio. Beautiful wood steering wheel. New seat belts have been installed. All gauges are believed to be original and work, except amp gauge. Underside shows no signs of rust. This great car would be a winner at local or regional shows, but it is less than concours. Known issues: newer convertible top does not fit well at windows, which is common for the TR6; front valance appears to be slightly mismatched. British Heritage certificate confirms numbers matching.
