Vehicle description
FOR SALE: 1969 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS TOWN SEDAN - VERY RARE! This 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass Town Sedan is a rare item. A 4-Door Sedan with a big block engine . . a friend said "Mom"s car has muscle!" It was purchased from a relative in California a few years ago with the intention of restoring it to it"s original stock appearance, but with more under the hood. Unfortunately I haven"t had the time to do any work on the restoration. It has been driven very little since I first brought it east, but I"ve taken it regularly to my mechanic for maintenance. The Pennsylvania inspection is not current, but I took it to my mechanic last year to get it ready for sale (new tires, oil change, battery, etc.) so it should pass. I keep it stored with the battery removed. My brother-in-law replaced the carburetor with an Edelbrock 4-barrel and he installed a racing cam. It"s a beefy car and rides VERY smooth. The original paint was a 2-tone with Sable on the bottom and a Topaz vinyl top. The Sable paint is original, but very aged. Vinyl top was removed at one point. Interior gold paint is also original. Upholstery will need to be replaced and (as you can see in the photos) is worn, but the springs are good. The steering wheel is not original. Odometer shows 8503, but I can"t be certain if it"s turned over or not. The car originally had A/C, but the compressor was removed (mount remains). A CD/Stereo replaced the original radio. Rear deck shows age. THIS IS A RARE CAR!
