This 1969 convertible 280SL is in Sunnyvale, California and I would be pleased to show it.
I inherited this vehicle intend to give the proceeds to the deceased"s mother. My friend owned this vehicle from the time that I knew her in 1995. To the best of my knowledge there was one previous owner. If you contact me I may be willing to cover the cost of reasonable vehicle reports, provided that I may use a copy.
My friend only used one shop for the vehicle during the time that I knew her, and I have some records from that shop. The shop is still in business and I am in touch with the shop owner.
The court and DMV processing were very slow- since 2017. During that time the 280SL has been housed in the shop or, more recently, in an enclosed trailer. I would be happy to sell the trailer separately if it would be useful to you.
