This car has undergone a complete frame-off restoration to a high standard and is one of the finest examples known today. Refinished in its original factory “Bahama Yellow”, the metal frame was completely disassembled, blasted with a dustless blaster, epoxy-primed and painted black. The R16 Renault 1565cc 4 cylinder engine was rebuilt with a new carburetor and is backed by a 4-Speed manual transmission. New seats, door panels, carpet, and dash, along with new glass and upgraded stainless steel door hinges. Bumpers were rechromed and power window regulators were restored. New 15” alloy wheels, tires, and shocks, and a new exhaust system as well. Front and rear coil over springs. A fantastic investment opportunity as restored examples of these cars rarely come for sale. The car presents exceptionally well from all sides, and sounds healthy as a horse going down the road. It has a smooth running engine complimented by a nice throaty exhaust system. Upon close inspection, minor flaws in the paint - typical for fiberglass cars - are present - but the car looks beautiful on the top side, as well as underneath. Personal inspections are encouraged and welcomed. No tire kickers please. The car has a current (recent) appraised market value of $35,500.00 USD. This is a 50 year old used car and will likely have flaws not mentioned here. Mileage is exempt/unknown. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding on the car.
