Vehicle description
Im putting out my 1 registered owner with original 1969 DC title Dart GTS 340 Convertible.
Very rare as it is only one of 214. This was ordered 2/69 and bought new at Senate Dodge and became rather well known in the DC area. The owner was an enthusiast, so he had changed the Motor and Trans down the road. So no guilt, if you decide to modernize the driveline in this Rare and Beautiful A body convertible.
I serviced the car when I pulled from storage in 2011. Brake Hoses, Cylinders, Necessary front end parts, Tires, Fluid Service and Valve Cleaning, Electroinic Ignition, Exhaust and more. Starts, Stops, Runs, Drives, top works etc. Drive now restore later.
Have original paperwork from order and delivery. Buildsheet, Fender Tag. F5 Green, White Bucket interior and Top. Fast Ratio steer installed from new. Please see attached order and build forms. Manual Steering and Manual Drum Brakes.
Currently good running P code 1970 340 and 340 trans. Owner became ill and son liquidated inventory. I did NOT get eh original I also have a nice set of GTS Hubcaps and un-silenced air cleaner.
Car was in service in DC are throughout the 70"s, 80"s, 90"s and often at local drag strips for bracket racing and Mopar shows. Since it was a daily driver the quarters had rust and were repaired and car had been painted a couple times to keep in service.
Frame Rails, floors, Trunk, convertible top, inner fenders all good shape. Original GTS hood is very nice. I will include a very nice set of rust free doors. Car will need quarters and I"d find replacement or reproduction fenders. Typical Mopar restoration needed to bring up to show quality.
Great opportunity Resto or modify to a modern Hemi killer driver on a solid RARE platform.
Located in MD suburbs of DC
Possible help with Enclosed delivery on East Coast for extra $$$
