Vehicle description

1969 Cutlass S
Convertible The Cutlass Convertible has been in storage since 1979! Ran and drove when parked. The car is a 350 2 barrel, power drum brakes, power steering and power top. The condition of the body is real good. The floors, trunk and frame are sound. I also had a picture of the battery tray and there was no rust there too. The body has been painted once. You can observe typical rust in the lower parts of the fenders and the quarter panels have rust around the wheel arches. Nice Doors and trunk. The drives door glass is broke. I will include a door glass. The drivers door chrome is in the back seat and your can see it in the pictures. The engine is complete. There is a heat riser for the air cleaner. Looks like it is missing, but is was just off during the picture. The engine turns over by hand. There is oil in the engine (no contamination) and still anti freeze in the radiator. There are no brakes, the system is dry. I typically would get this to be a driver, but hesitated to do that because how long it was in storage. The cooling system, brake system and fuel system should be thoroughly cleaned. I did put a nice set of tires on the car. So, if you do these three items, you should have a good driver. The doors fit well in the opening. Nice body lines on both sides. On a convertible, this is very important. The power motor might need to be serviced. I would double check the fluids first. The top’s frame is extremely clean. It does go up and down manually. Windshield has a crack in it, looks like all the chrome is there and in good condition. I will include a door glass. I have a set of disc brake spindles, backing plates and mounting brackets I will also include. I will leave it at that. I am restoring a ’70 Chevelle and this is the source of my extra parts . The driver’s door opens from the inside. It is unknown why. But, the glass has been broken and maybe some broken glass is causing it? Clean title for the car and in my name. I will assist how I can with the transporter. I understand it takes time to pick a car up. The car can sit where it is until transport is arranged. However, I would expect the car to be paid for immediately . I will provide you with paperwork when the funds clear. I require a $200 deposit at the end of the auction. All deposits are non refundable. Please use care when bidding, it is a no reserve auction and your bid counts. Bid to buy. Call for any further information.
