I fell in love with BMW 2002 back in the early 80"s as a teenager. I purchased a 1969 from a neighbor in 1988 that he brought from Germany and regretted selling it. When I came across this one, I had to have it. The vehicle is not perfect, of course but there are MANY upgrades. It does need paint, rubbers, and a few other things and there are only two spots of cancer. Unfortunately, it is time to move on. I have had the car 5 years (hard to believe) and have driven about 1k. The upgrade list is long and I have many receipts. 5 Speed Conversion from Legendary Autoworks in Chula Vista, CA. Replaced crank and main bearings - purchased from Autobahn in El Cajon, CA Pertronix ignition upgrade, Battery relocate to trunk, Big Brake Kit, many details Front Suspension bushings, lower control arms, strut rods,sway bar end links. Rear trailer arm bushings, sway bar bushings. The upgrades to the suspension are custom. Front Suspension bushings, lower control arms, strut rods,sway bar end links. Rear trailer arm bushings, sway bar bushings. The upgrades to the suspension are custom - San Diego Performance European in San Diego, CA Interior is from a later model (I was told about a 72-73 or so) and is beautiful Trunk lid opener Trunk light 38/38 Webber Carb - ACME Garage San Diego, CA Stage 1 Sport Bushings and Billstein HD shocks, front and rear - Ireland Engineering in Duarte, CA 2 Liter Block had approximately 7-8k miles on it 121 Head was done approximately 4-5k miles ago. 292 CAM, Double Spring Valves with guides and seals. 4 in 1 step header -street/race with collector of 2.5" - Ireland Engineering Duarte, CA Clutch master cylinder - La Jolla Independent La Jolla, CA Polk Audio subwoofers, Boston Acoustice door speakers, Pioneer speakers below rear side windows. There are things needed; cable for sunroof - I was advised from La Jolla Independent and Aardvark Racing that you can purchase a better one (a Volvo kit) but the sunroof slides open easily. Antenna is really difficult to raise an lower. One of the blades on the left front grill broke and you need to TIG weld it. Stereo is junk Mileage is approximate
