Spring is around the corner and the Convertible top is down. . Bring back the days when sport cars were fun to drive. Offered here is one of the rarest and most collectible Triumphs is the TR250. These combine the classic Giovanni Michelotti design of the TR4 with six cylinder power and independent rear suspension of the TR6. To many collectors, the TR250 (called TR5 in the U.K.) represents the high point of Triumph sports cars. As time goes on, it becomes more difficult to find a good solid car like the one here with the added benefit of having a frame off, top to bottom restoration with hundred of pictures to document the entire process. . but this restoration includes many enhancement to make this TR250 one of a kind.
This 3 year effort resulted in a better than new Triumph TR250. And, it"s up for SALE. I want to do another build and just don"t have the room to keep it. It"s always been the design and build for me, not the ownership. I have over $50k in this car with all the extras, e.g., to name a few, All the goodies from Goodparts.com (Infinity PosiTrac differential, CVJoint half shafts, Wilwood multi piston Disc Brakes front and rear, ebrake, roller rockers, drive shaft, Heavy Duty front spindles/hubs, bearings, front and rear anti-roll bars), new Rack and Pinion steering, Patton"s EFI, fan delete,Electronic Distributor, Wizard Alum radiator and elec fan, Elec Power Steering, Cast alum finned oil pan, HVDA 5 speed w/overdrive, bell housing, clutch, hi torque starter, complete engine build with custom made forged pistons, performance cam, SS valves, HD oil pump, polished and ported head, ceramic coated headers, all new koni shocks, springs, ball joints, everything, every nut and bolt is new with this frame off restoration, new BFGoodrich Redline redial tires and 5 new PanaSport light weight spoke wheels (including spare), new alum fuel tank, New Robbins StayFast canvas convertible top w/zip down rear window, all new glass, all new bumpers, overrides, oil cooler with oil line thermostat, all new polished dual SS Tourist Trophy exhaust pipes and muffler, lights, trim, new upgraded wipers and motor, all new paint (gloss black and laser straight), new wire harness, new/rebuilt Triumph gauges, new alternator, water pump, wood dash, steering wheel, leather interior, car cover. . just everything is new. Oh, and can"t forget 2000+ labor hours at no cost. This One year only Triumph TR250 is not only rare, but better than new.
