Vehicle description
Up for sale today is my 1968 Plymouth GTX 2 door hardtop. The real deal here folks.
This is an original car that was discovered in a building of the original owner here in Omaha Nebraska.
This is a "project car", and is all there!
The car came equipped with a 440 V8, Automatic 3 speed transmission. Ember Gold with black bucket seat interior and black vinyl top. AM Radio, Wheel lip moldings and rocker mouldings. 3:23 with Sure Grip. White wall tires.
The car will start and drive onto a trailer. I"ve never driven this car. I"m considering it a project car. The gas tank has been removed by me and am running it off a can under the hood.
The interior is old. Not all ratty. Just old and hard feeling vinyl. He had a small fire in his garage several years ago. The car was not affected other than a bit of soot he cleaned 90 percent of up.
The car has had body work and a repaint to a darker gold color in 1972. It was a poor job.
Driver side rear quarter was replaced.
Car has some lower body rust as seen in pictures.
Trunk is good. Floors are good, frame rails are 90 % solid.
The vinyl top is surprisingly nice. There are No bubbles or rust evident under the vinyl. The vinyl has shrunk a bit on drivers side.
I do not have a lift. The pictures in ad are indicative of the general condition of the under body. This isn"t a bad lower undercarriage.
This car deserves to be restored.
3 original magnum wheels and one rally. Tires are shot but hold air.
This is a warranty replacement block in 1970 at the dealer, as per the original owner.
The original fender tag is still attached to the car. Note the one painted screw and the one non painted screw!
The car sits up all the way around as it should at all 4 corners. Glass looks original and decent shape.
The car is sold as is. If you have a question you deem important please ask. Come see it or have it inspected.
Shipping is going to be the buyers responsibility. I will assist in loading.
A $500.00 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hrs of auctions end, I will accept paypay for deposit only!
Balance must be wired to me or a bank check mailed to me within 7 days of auctions end. THERE IS NO C.O.D.
Funds must clear my account before the car leaves my garage.
These are my non negotiable terms.
Any questions please call me daytime at 402 733 7760 Thanks and good luck!
