This is a true GTX. She looks, drives and sounds great. The 440 Super Commando is like new. Complete restoration 6 years ago and motor rebuilt 2 years ago (approx. 1000 miles on rebuild). One of the nicest GTXs you may ever see. Car starts, shifts and operates as she should. Garage kept. All body panels are original. Fender tag is in place. New disc breaks in front and drums in rear. Original wheels, glass ,bumpers, knee knocker tach, chrome, too much to list. Very original car. Upgraded light package and rare rear defroster with inspection tag still on. Original jack and spare. New BF Goodrich Redline tires (500 miles). I have original Broadcast sheet and operator"s manual. I have 1967 June and July issues of SuperStock magazine with reviews of the GTX. I do not have Certicard or radio. The car looks better in person than in photos. It has great power and is very fun to drive, even the washer fluid pump works. No rust. Must see and hear to appreciate. Car is not original color. Original color was black/black. Not a concourse car, but a great show car and driver. Interior is new (Legendary).
Engine was rebuilt and tuned by the legendary Pat Donavan to original specs. http:/ www.risesales.com/pages/Dragracecentral/donovan.html . I have the dyno sheet from the tune. Motor is date correct, trans and rear are original. Rear is 3.23.1 Sure Grip code 637.
I am selling because I have no time to drive and this car is too nice to let sit under cover in my warehouse. This car should be shared and makes everyone happy that sees it. Please see pics and contact me via email with questions.
