Vehicle description
You are bidding on a 1968 Coronet 500 convertible. It has original drive train, all but the engine was replaced in 1969 with a service replacement 318.This convertible has 100% rust free floors and under body. The doors are very clean needed a small amount of work in one corner seams are all tight and perfect. Deck lid has been chemically striped and e coated there is one small area that needs repair the hem flange is still intact. The fenders, power bulge hood, splash shields, grille parts ,pencil braces and hood latch member have all been stripped and e coated zero rust. Your choice of hood Power bulge or 500 hood. I have the Coronet 500 emblems and the side spears re chromed by a top chrome shop in Michigan the rocker moldings have been bumped polished and clear powder coated. Everything is here for the car with the exception of the chrome tail light bezels and the dimmer switch. Possibly a few odds and ends but not much. The Dash is perfect I pulled the switch panel to install a dimmer and go through it but never got around to it.The quarters need a little work as they were worked on before i am not 100% sure the extent but not much. This is one of the cleanest old Mopars I have ever started on.It runs and drives very well. Smokes a little not bad.If you are interested in an RT convertible please see my other auction this car would be a great car for part for the RT or and excellent 500.$1000.00 deposit required within 24 hours
