This 1967 VW bus is gorgeous in Royal Blue/White finish, with light interior. It has a larger than original engine with 1600cc and twin carbs. Recent transmission work and clutch done - 4 speed manual transmission works great. Upgraded electronic ignition system. Vehicle is stored indoors - only several tiny suggestions of rust. Directional signals, and wipers work. Gas gauge not operational. No radio. No climate control - authentic period vehicle! Paint looks great, no dents, one tiny paint bubble and one small linear crack in paint approximately 1 inch. The weather stripping inside windows was all new along with seats, headliner, and carpet when I purchased it 5 years ago along with the nice two tone paint. This vehicle is an attention magnet on street and guarantees conversation and friendship with every stranger. It is fun to drive and drives really well. It has a fancier muffler and tail pipe than when it was new, and sounds great. I drive it every few days lightly in city conditions and I do not drive it in the rain. It has always been kept inside. I have full roof rack with ladder which makes a nice touch for display at car show, but not really practical. This is an authentic German made VW. It is a great piece of history that makes you smile driving it, and everybody on the street smiles and points when you pass. I am selling because of limited garage space due to other vehicles.
