History - For sale is VERY ORIGINAL 1967 Pontiac Firebird. It has had only two owners in the past. The first owner purchased it from Balestra Pontiac located in Redwood City, CA. In the 1980s he sold it to his neighbor"s daughter who owned the car up until now! She was in high school at the time and this was her first car. For over 30 years she took very good care of the vehicle. It still has the mantaintance books, dealer information, data plate, and the original pink slip from the 80s! It has never been in Salinas CA pretty much its whole life. Garage kept and well maintained. Original BLK plated car.
Body & Interior - This vehicle is very stock. It is finished in white with a black leather interior. The body is in very good shape, and it is believed to have only been painted once in the past. There have been absolutely no major accidents in the past and gaps are excellent all around. The car has no real rust anywhere. Neither has it ever in the past. The floors are all original and have no true rust or metal work ever. Very solid CA car. The interior has also remained very original. The steering wheel is very nice, the headliner is tight, original radio, dash has no cracks. The seats are in great shape besides the driver"s seat having a small tear. It presents itself JUST LIKE SHOWN IN THE VIDEO. Please watch it in full. Everything Is shown. Mechanically- Mechanically it runs and drives great. It has a 326 V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The lady stated she replaced the motor roughly 5 years ago, its period correct and no longer matching numbers. Everything else on the vehicle should be original except for the engine. I only have the records shown in the video. Not very many miles have been put on this motor. The ride is smooth and sporty. This ultimate driving machine handles like it"s on rails! The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power.Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. There are absolutely no known fluid leaks. All suspension and steering components are in proper working order. This vehicle can be driven daily, everything mechanically appears to be functioning well. The odometer reads 87,417.
