Vehicle description
Up for auction is my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere 383 4speed. I want to state up front that this car is not a restored matching numbers show queen but a real sweet drive anywhere kick Azz MOPAR! (Originally a 318 auto) The body is pretty clean and the underside is rust free. The car was resprayed many years ago in a very close match to the original paint of turbine bronze metallic. The paint looks better in the pictures than it really is. The car shows its battle scars well though. It has some minor bubbles above the rear wheel lips and various areas of surface rust and scratches. All of the pot metal is really clean with very minor pits. Both bumpers were re-chromed, any and all brackets, suspension parts, rear housing etc. were sandblasted and painted. I also repainted and polished the front grill and rear trunk panel. I Purchased it out of Alabama a number of years ago where it sat garaged for a very long time. My whole objective when I built the car was total mechanical rebuild with upgrades related to performance, reliability and drivability. I also left the paint and body as is cause I wanted to be able to lean on the fenders, smoke the rear treads and not worry about everything that goes with owning a restored show quality car. It runs, steers, brakes and handles very well. It can be driven anywhere. It is truly a blast to drive! Everything works except the speedometer, it needs a new cable. The car has approximately 5000 miles on it since I built it. The heater box is out of the car but I will include it with the sale. Listed below are some of the thing I have done to it. I"m sure there is a lot I missed but have listed what I can remember. I highly doubt you can build one for what my reserve price is. I also reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Winning bidder will have to send me a non refundable deposit of $500 at auction end. In addition the car will have to be paid in full prior to leaving my possession. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. I will assist in any way I can. Car has a valid NYS Transferable registration that will go to the new owner upon full payment. Payment in Cash, Bank Check or Wire Transfer.
