Vehicle description
I just had a baby, so unfortunately forced to sell. Looks and drives great. Perfect for getting around town in style.
Work just done:
- New Battery - New Tires (including full spare) - New Alignment - Tune-Up/Oil Change - Carb Tune-Up - Replaced Steering Box - Replaced wood trim around windshield - New sub-frame mounts installed - Complete, New $1,000 Stainless Steel Timevalve Exhaust System installed (Lifetime Warranty )
Known issues / things I was going to work on:
- Some body rust/rot all around - Dash lights not functional (small clamp LED is current workaround) - Car starts in any gear - Washer pump reservoir needs to be installed, and bellows replaced on foot pump - Brakes work fine, but I was planning on replacing the whole system - There is a minor sputter sound in the motor that is barely audible at very high RPM, but otherwise not heard and does not seem to affect performance. - Driver"s side window can get stuck in the down position. I was going to take all the doors apart and clean up/grease all the moving parts. - Driver"s side door lock is a bit sticky, but functional (all locks work) - Replace missing carpet on backseat dash - Fix hood lever - Fix some loose exterior trim - I have the lens that is missing from the front left headlight assembly
Those are the big things that come to mind. There are likely a number of smaller things on my mental list, but those above you should be aware of. What you see is what you get. Please look carefully at the pictures, and ask questions and I will do my best to answer. With that said, I am selling the car as-is .
This 100% can be driven away, the title is clear, and it has original plates registered from 1967 in NY that I will include with the car. I also have the original owner"s manual, key chain, as well as the original purchase letter from Germany to the car"s first owner. I"ll also throw in some repair manuals, and an original old magazine ad for this car.

Flaky buyer forced me to re-list. $500 deposit due within 24hrs, car must be picked up and remaining balance due within 7 days.
