(ONLY 811 NADA Land Rovers ever built) Left hand drive Rover Nada 109 Long Wheel base there was only 811 vin 34300405a Series 2A this a fully running Rover. The frame is solid showing only some surface corrosion that can easy sanded and painted the metal however is all great shape. The motor in early 2010, was changed with the 1978 mercedes OM616 with very low mileage 2.4 L (2404cc) engine output of (71hp). It is mated to the original 4spd tranny and using oem transfer case. The motor runs excellent (colder months just have to wait for orange glow plug light to turn off but its starts on a dime) The gauges all work , all oem , I have installed new fuel tank, filler pipe and serviced the diesel fuel pump. The cooling is thru electronic fan that has its on switch. Interior is very clean for it ages no rips on seats they fold down at rear to create more space. The aluminum body is very straight there arent any signs of body filler, but little bit rust shows on the door hinges on the back bumper this is all surface rust that can be sanded and repainted. The firewall whole floor is in excellent shape. The exterior shows its age it has flaked off paint exposing the the original aluminum body. (1967 ! ! !) The Rover has Dynamic Tires LT 235/85/16 all around plus a brand new spare that goes on the hood. New master cylinder and brakes and steering are tight. Has auxiliary toggle switch (labelled) for electric fan This can be just driven as a driver or taken apart and restored to new glory best part is that everything is there and the body and are solid ! !. For anyone that needs parts there cheaper than you think, a gas tank with fuel filter, new filler pipe, new pump, was delivered from Liverpool England to our place in Canada using company called LRNET and it was within a week DHL for under $450 c Canadian . A whole interior kit can be bought for under $500! So this is for people that think parts will be expensive. . . there very cheap and oem and fast tracked delivery! ! This is a solid Rig just needs the loving I am doing house renos or else I would not be selling it !
