Hi up for sale is a very special Land Rover. This is for the 2004 Discovery, the last great year.
The motor needs to be rebuilt or new. Currently it is an issue with the "cams" coming out. .however it has not heated the entire system and the rest under the hood seems to be in great shape according to two different Land Rover specific (it makes a difference) mechanics and auto shops. Also, it needs a new back bumper and front bumper cover. The hood and roof need to be repainted. It is black (there was a rust pot or two, I tried to fix it by hand. The rust is gone, I think, (very small anyway) but it is hard to tell over the goopy mess that occured when I tried to do it myself.) could be shined up. the rest of the body is in good condition, as is the paint. Oh a few little end caps and plastic things need to be replaced, but it is the standard stuff with the Discoveries, and I do not think over 100-200 dollars. There are relatively new brakes and rotors on front and back I believe too. It will need matching bolt caps for all tires. Right now its piecemeal. The sunroofs both are intact. However they do not slide open and closed. Headliner needs love. Small rip in the front seat, but interior looks pretty good overall. Has approx 106k miles with plenty left to go. This is a collectors car. The last great year of Discovery. If you have the cash to put into it in the motor and a few cosmetics, it would be well worth it. Also, and this is important. .it is currently drivable, but I would only drive it a very small distance and preferably onto a tow truck. . They said it could stop today or in a year with the issue it has. I prefer someone to love it up and rehab it while the issues are somewhat contained. Mahalo for looking. It is mainland kept.
