Vehicle description
It’s time to let someone else to enjoy this great truck, she just hasn’t been driven as much as she should in the past few months. I don’t have to sell it, and won’t give it away.
1967 Land Rover IIa, 109” wheelbase. Also called the 109 Regular or 3 door.
This is a right hand drive, single wiper motor. The IIa with lights in the breakfast are getting increasingly hard to find.
Includes a soft top and hoop set (windows need to be replaced), and a very rare tropical top with good glass seals and the rare clamshell door.
One bulkhead outrigger is crusty, as shown in pics.
Never fails to start, leaks in the usual places, and the interior is decent but not a show winner. Paint looks great 15 feet away, but overall it’s a credible driver you aren’t afraid to drive. It’s been garage kept most of it’s life in the U.S. - it’s only seen rain once since I’ve owned it (6 years).
Truck is basically stock with the exception of a spin on oil filter upgrade.
Needs a new speedo cable installed (have it), and the soft lines for brakes should be replaced. I can do this for a potential buyer, for the price of parts. The windshield wipers do not work, and I have never investigated this.
Runs, drives, and stops like it should. Clear TN title.
