Vehicle description
Land Rover Defender coiler built from Series II-a 109 wagon to included Rover 3.9 V-8 with automatic transmission mated to correct Rover LT230 transfer case! ! She runs extremely well and smooth with Edlebrock intake and carburetor -including manual choke for those cold morning starts- consequently no ECU issues or electrical gremlin worries! Recent radiator, water pump/viscous, belts, hoses, etc as well as recent oil change- ready to drive and enjoy. The exterior has some nice patina with solid doors showing some evidence of early electrolysis. Seats are in nice condition, with high back second rows and rear benches in the boot!
She is obviously not a $250k show vehicle, but IS a very nice driver, ready to share lots of fun adventures- wether to the mountains or the coast. Or just to make the typical grocery jaunt a full smile wide eyed adventure- just allow extra time for all the waves, thumbs up, and admirers likely to have numerous questions.
This is an auction to sell a vehicle, and as such pre-bid inspections are strongly encouraged and welcomed! Also, any bidders with less than 5 transactions or Feedback score less than 100%, must contact seller before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. Lastly, being well over 50 years old, there is no warranty of any kind- expressed or implied. I am happy to provide buyer details on the build to facilitate their ongoing stewardship of this old Landy.
