Vehicle description
Arizona vehicle since day 1! 70,000 original miles on the V8 266. First owner had it from "67 to "69 and I bought it from the second owner. Spent it"s whole life in Winkelman, Arizona driving from home to the barber shop 1/4 mile away with the occasional road trip to hunt the nearby mountains.
The facts: Clean title in hand Last registered in 2002 All original with exception of carburetor 3 speed manual transmission Dual 9 gallon gas tanks Original back seat Previous owner added electric fuel pump Bottom of both doors have minor rust due to water collecting inside doors Driver and passenger floor boards rusted due to water collecting in floor mats Body mounts are NOT rusted Dent in driver rear quarter panel and lower middle of front grill Needs new water pipes and freeze plugs Changed oil Haven"t fired it up yet, but plan to shortly Plenty more pictures available upon request
I"ve been a Scout owner for several years and am willing to answer any number of questions you may have. I"ve already successfully rebuilt my "69 800a with the V8 304 and have learned a lot through the process, so please don"t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
